Over in their hometown of Birmingham, England, Peace are one of the biggest things going. Can’t totally blame you for not knowing them yet if you’re stateside. However, after I introduce you to their song “California Daze”, that should all change. If you’re not on board after this, you got yourself to blame.
The band start the song with a laid-back vibe, reminiscent of past days of summers glory at first. Soon the things kicks in and hit a glorious nostalgia kicks in full gear, acting as a rocker and a ballad at the same time. This is a great preview of their soon to be released The Delicious EP, out September 9. (pre-order on limited white vinyl here)
Not sure if it’s the greatest thing ever or a 2012 version of “A Certain Romance” but this song is spectacular. I’m really excited about this band. Got a good feeling about them.
