The Soft Pack return this fall with new album Strapped, and I couldn’t be more excited. Here’s another reason to get excited: “Tallboy”, the latest cut from the album that the band shared is an absolute winner. It’s a strong follow-up to the first song we heard, “Saratoga”.
“Tallboy” nails the sound of that time right before summers departure, whether they intended or not. Although it’s fading away, you still got some of the warm goodness left. You know, like the the warm yet delicious bottom of a fading tallboy.
The boys have done it yet again. Funky-good indie rock that gets my approval in every way.
