Flying Lotus’ new album is titled Until the Quiet Comes (it comes out October 2 via Warp). He has released a short film, directed by Kahlil Joseph that features three songs from the album.
One of the songs featured is the Erykah Badu collaboration “See Thru to U” that we already heard. The oher two songs are called “Hunger” and “Getting There” and both feature Niki Randa.
The short film is visually stunning, and at times made me feel like he watched one too many Terrence Malick films.
