Last night I caught the preview screening of the Dirty Projectors short film, Hi Custodian at the Sunshine Cinema. It was really outstanding to see/hear the film on the highest quality screens/sound system. The film was a great watch, and interestingly put together.

The film was written and directed by Dave Longstreth. During a Q&A after the screening last night, Longstreth spoke about how he went into this without any prior film experience. One fan brought up the influence of Kanye’s short film, Runaway, and Longstreth agreed, and had high praise for the film. He also is a big fan of Die Hard, and Ghostbusters.
