I was just introduced to Night Beds by Dead Oceans, who just announced the signing of the 23-year-old Nashville resident, Winston Yellen. The introduction came with his single “Even If We Try”, and it’s quite a start for this talented young man.
Yellen shares with us a bit of himself in the sparse haunted track. You can hear every bit of emotion in his voice, sharing every bit of hurting that he has been through. This is his first release for Dead Oceans, and what a start that it is.
