The Walkmen are set to release a limited edition 7″ single consisting of their previously unreleased tracks “Dance With Your Partner” and “Vermeer ’65”. There are only 1000 copies of the single, and they will be released on November 6. The first 100 fans to enter their show at Terminal 5 on October 17 will receive free copies. Otherwise they are up for pre-order at Fat Possum / Insound.
On the new tracks, The Walkmen delight and dabble with their classic sound. It is indeed an extension of the feelings on Heaven, since it’s taken from those sessions. Not a problem.
