Dave Grohl Returns To Queens Of The Stone Age

By Will Oliver, November 6th 2012 News

Dave Grohl has returned to Queens Of The Stone Age, taking control of the drum kit for their next album (due sometime next year). The band uploaded the photo you see above on their facebook page, hinting at the return. Band-leader Josh Homme confirmed with Zane Lowe that Dave is recording with them on the drums, replacing Joey Castillo.

The last time Dave recorded with them was on Songs For The Death, and that turned out quite alright. Time to get excited, because QOTSA are likely in for a huge 2013.
