The effect of Hurricane Sandy is going to be felt around these parts for a while. It’s good to see bands getting together to do something special for a good cause. The So So Glos have a show tomorrow, and now a huge show has been announced in Brooklyn Heights.

On Saturday the OCCUPY SANDY! Benefit Concert will take place at St. Ann & The Holy Trinity on 157 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. The performance will feature acoustic sets (in order to honor the solidarity of those who are still without power) from:

Real Estate / Vampire Weekend / Devendra Banhart / Hamilton Leithauser, Walter Martin & Peter Bauer from The Walkmen / Cass McCombs / David Longstreth, Amber Coffman and Haley Dekle from Dirty Projectors

(they will perform in that order)

The suggested donation is $30, and tickets are limited to 2 per purchase. Grab your tickets here, it’s going to a good cause, and you will get many great acts playing in a rare acoustic setting. It should be something special.
