Dragon Inn 3 is the project of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’s Philip Dickey, his sister, Roni Dickey (of New Monsters Collective), and Brook Linder. Earlier in the month they released their debut EP Ghoul School and now they have a special cover that fits their 80s-based sound perfectly.
They offer a pitch-perfect cover of Simple Minds’ 80s classic “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” which was made famous by The Breakfast Club (come on, watch it already). It serves as a bonus track to the EP (which was #2 on the bandcamp charts last week).
They have given me the honor of premiering it to the world, and I so with great, great, pleasure, I give you Dragon Inn 3’s cover of “Don’t You (Forget About Me).
