After a stunning CMJ showing, Foxygen are one of my favorite new acts. I’m very excited to see what their debut album We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic will bring to us when it comes out next January 22 via Jagjaguwar.
The band are definitely eccentric, and the video for the album’s first single “Shuggie” definitely doesn’t argue against that as it shows various people bonding and struggling with a strange black box.
