Ducktails new album The Flower Lane comes out January 29 via Domino. They already gave us a listen to the albums title track, and now we get to hear another cut, “Letter Of Intent”.
Ducktails gets a little bit of help from his friends on “Letter Of Intent.” Jessa Farkas of Future Shuttle and Ian Drennan of Big Troubles’ take over vocal duties, and Daniel Lopatin of Oneohtrix Point Never controls synths, and Joel Ford of Ford & Lopatin plays bass. You also have Big Troubles backing him up on the whole album. Teaming up with so many artists is always a risky move, but Ducktails and friends pull it off.
Wind-whirl of vintage night vibes take control of all the senses giving off magical vibes all around. There’s a jazzy nature floating in the distance as well.
Their playing an album release show on January 23 in NYC at (Le) Poisson Rouge.
