This spring Seattle’s Michael Benjamin Lerner is back with a new Telekinesis album titled Dormarion.
Yesterday he premiered a new song from the record on Stereogum titled “Ghosts and Creatures.” It’s a spiraling giant of track that fits a big chorus with a lot of hook and heart over a wash of synths and effects that create a powerful emotional effect. It’s a winner.
Dormarion is released April 2 via Merge Records. Spoon’s drummer Jim Eno produced the record. He will play at Bowery Ballroom on May 9.
