According to Seattle radio station 107.7 The End, RCA Records sent them a new single from The Strokes titled “All The Time.” It’s apparently going to be on their new album, which will be their fifth.
So The Strokes are indeed returning with a new album this year. This is good news, and counters any doubts that people like myself may have had that they would return.
107.7 The End had this to say on their site:
we can tell you that of the two songs we heard, one was a more synth driven track, with the other (the aforementioned, “All The Time”) packing a classic Strokes sound.
