The ever-growing tale of Blur’s new album has been a will they or won’t they mystery that has eluded us for years. Just when we seem to be inching closer, only for Damon Albarn and the rest of Blur to pull away just as easily.
During the bands performance in Hong Kong during the AsiaWorld-Expo, Albarn dropped some major news. He was quoted saying:
So we have a week in Hong Kong, and we thought it would be a good time to try and record another record.”
This is huge news. Hopefully they stick it out. “Under The Westway” was one of my favorite songs last year, and there’s always room in our lives for new Blur.
