Cut Copy are the perfect blend of electronic dance music and rock and roll, with high energy large enough to capture anyone’s attention. When I asked everyone who their favorite act of the festival was, literally every single person responded Cut Copy, including myself. The Aussie’s just know how to bring it live, and with a shortened set, there was only room for the best, and that’s what they delivered, wrapped and sealed.
Lead singer Dan Whitford sported new much longer hair that almost cast him unregognizble upon first glance. The band also played us a new song called “Explorers” that will be on their upcoming record. It doesn’t miss a beat at all.
