Franz Ferdinand will return with new album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, on August 27 via Domino. It’s their first album since 2009’s Tonight. So it’s been a while since we’ve heard some new tunes from the Glasgow boys.
They’ve made their official return with two new singles off the album: “Right Action” & “Love Illumination.” They mark their return with a callback to the sound of their debut with “Right Action,” while “Love Illumination” is more of the synth-heavy influence that they gave us on Tonight.
It’s damn good to hear new tunes from these guys and I can’t wait to hear what else they have waiting for us on the LP. Listen to both songs below.
