I hadn’t seen Parquet Courts since SXSW, but no matter. With the temperatures pretty equal to what the Austin sun delivered, it was a pretty similar setting at South Street Seaport, except for the giant ships hanging out. The band played arguably the best set of the day, ripping through the songs in a fierce and dominate matter. Their performance of “Stoned and Starving” was unforgettable.

Parquet Courts just got everything working right for them. Go see them live as soon as you can.
