As a fan of Icona Pop’s “I Love It, even I’m very much sick of it by now. Still, the Swedish duo hit it big, and for good reason. They know how to right a catchy pop song. Although they’ve seemingly been around forever, they’re only just releasing their (stateside) debut album This is… Icona Pop this September.
I didn’t expect to like their new single “All Night” but it’s just too catch to pass up. They use their Swedish pop influences with care here, sprinkling it over a well made pop structure that is going to get stuck in your head whether you like it or not. Luckily, I’m digging it, but if you’re not a fan, you better start getting used to it because you will be hearing this non-stop over the next few months.
Definitely a new guilty pleasure.
