Yesterday the Pixies came out of no where with the news that they released a new EP. It’s called EP-1 and will be the first in a series of little releases that the band will release over the next 15 months. You can buy the EP right here (digitally or on a limited 10″ vinyl – 5,000 copies made).
They shared a song off the EP, the lush and wondrous “Indie Cindy.” Not going to lie, I didn’t expect it to sound this good. I’m not Pixies expert by any means, so don’t shoot me through my screen, but you can’t really tell that Kim is missing, because “Indie Cindy” sounds very much like the Pixies of old to me.
