Last year Grizzly Bear released their great album Shields. On November 12 they will expand on the album with a special edition titled: Shields: Expanded and Shields: B-Sides.
Along with the album it will include 8 b-sides, remixes, and demos. You can take a listen to one demo of a great song titled “Will Call” that are being titled Marfa Demos. These are from when the band first recorded in Marfa, Texas, before finally settling down to track later in Cape Cod and New York.
“Will Call” is an exceptional track, one that I would have loved to see on Shields. It’s nearly seven minutes long, and takes many different directions including a jazzy outro. Either way, we have it now. Check it out below.
