On October 15 Cass McCombs is returning with a a new album called Big Wheel and Others via Domino. It will feature a massive 22 songs.
Last month he shared a song called “There Can Only Be One” with us. Now he’s shared a track called “Brighter!” that he dedicated to the late Karen Black who takes over the vocals on it as well.
The last time they worked together was on “Dreams Come True Girl”, one of my personal favorites of McCombs. “Brighter” is a wonderful little dedication to Black. The soundcloud page reads:
