Cut Copy were actually not on the original line-up. They were a replacement for How To Destroy Angels. As someone who was really pumped to see HTDA I couldn’t help but jump for joy when Cut Copy was announced. Any time I’ve seen them they have been some of the most fun dance shows I’ve been too, so this was exciting.
Just as I assumed they were mind-blowing. The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium was surprisingly rather empty but that did not stop Cut Copy from bringing all that they had to the stage. They played 4 new songs including “Free Your Mind”, “Let Me Show You Love”, “We Are Explorers”, and “Meet Me In a House Of Love.” They were all really amazing live. Man, this new album is stacked (it’s available to stream here).
