On February 10, Boston-based singer Marissa Nadler will return with her new album July (via Sacred Bones). It’s the companion-piece (and follow up) to her 2011 self-titled album.
She’s shared a gorgeous track from the album titled “Dead City Emily.” It’s a delightful breath of fresh air from all the constructed electronic-pop stuff out there. Just a beautiful voice, the light strumming of an acoustic guitar, and some well placed effects in the background.
