The Plum Magnetic are an under the radar quartet out of New Orleans who were recently brought to my attention. They actually released their album Terra Animata last year, but one listen to the closing (self-titled) track was enough to capture my interest.
They produce a lush, relaxing vibe, that’s easy on the ears. There’s also a wide variety of world music that is captured effortlessly enough to sound natural and liberating. It’s a sound that instantly touches the listener, something that isn’t always easy to do.
