Cloud Nothings will release their new album Here and Nowhere Else on April 1 via both Carpark and Mom + Pop. They have released the album’s first single, “I’m Not Part Of Me.”
I got to hear the song played live when the band played the whole album through at a special show at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn last month. “I’m Not A Part Of Me” is four and a half minutes of a punk-minded blitz with a youthful spirit. The progression that the band made on 2012’s excellent Attack On Memory continues here in a refined manner.
