What are you guys doing on Thursday night? Hopefully nothing, because I got a pair of tickets to giveaway to one of you to see The Rooks at the Gramercy Theatre. They will play there alongside Rocket & The Ghost, Nat Osborn, and Lyle Divinsky. It should be a fun evening of live music.
They’re a NYC-based sextet and are self-described as a “R&B/IndieSoul sextet.” Last year saw the release of their debut EP Something You Can Take, and this year they perfromed the 2nd highest grossing residancy at Pianos in three years, definitely an impressive feat. Oh, and Deli NYC just named them the artist of the month.
