“Computerized” is a previously unshared collaboration between Daft Punk & Jay Z. A pretty big deal, but is the result as good as it should be?
Well, it’s undoubtedly cool to hear Jay rapping over the electronic soundscape that the robots create, with some of their trademark vocals adding to the spark. But in terms of quality, the song isn’t breaking any grounds. It was probably left as a demo for a reason.
Still, with some more time and work, who knows what a collaboration between the two will bring. We saw what they did with Kanye on Yeezus.
