Pixies - Indie Cindy

Pixies have announced that they will release their first new album since 1991’s Trompe Le Monde. The album is titled Indie Cindy, which was the name of a song included on an EP they released last year (titled EP-1). This makes some sense, as the album features tracks off all 3 EPs that were recently released. The band will release it on April 29 via their own label Pixiesmusic.

Simon Archer handled bass duties during recording of the album. There’s no contributions to be found from Kim Deal, or her two live replacements: Kim Shattuck and Paz Lenchantin. Gil Norton produced Indie Cindy. That’s good news, as he produced Doolittle, Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde.
