The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart have released their video for “Simple and Sure” the lead single off their upcoming LP Days of Abandon. The video is a creative one as it is basically a bunch of GIF’s combined to make one insane clip.
The video, directed by Bangs, is shot and black and white showing various guests at a dinner party that they can’t leave (influenced by The Exterminating Angel?)
Nylon premiered the video and got this quote from the band’s frontman Kip Berman about the video:
I’m taken aback at how many online outlets now reduce their content to a series of GIFs, assuming a minute long video or a single paragraph of text to be too burdensome. We’re as much prisoners of our need for constant distraction and instant sensation as the trapped guests at the dinner party.
