Books On Fate is the project of San Francisco native Adam Dishart. Playing pop music tinged with melancholy, his latest single “Myth Of Trust” certainly lives up to that description and then some.
He links artists such as The Smiths and Mark Kozelek as influences, but I hear some Placebo in the new single. There’s heavy weight put on his vocals which guide the way for the rest of the track to work its magic.
