She’s announced her official return, with the release of new single “Let Me Down Gently.” It’s set to appear on her new album Trouble In Paradise, which will be released on July 8 via Cherrytree/Interscope.
“Let Me Down Gently” is a glamorous return for Elly Jackson, who takes the track through a delicious synth-world that has a wonderful breakdown around the halfway mark which sold me hard. It’s a pop song that gets it right.
