Ex-Cult put on one of the best live shows you’ll find at the moment. I’ve seen them twice now, and they bring it every single time. Their show with Ty Segall at SXSW this March was probably the best show I’ve seen this year. The live energy they bring is second to none. If they’re not on your radar, I recommend you correct that, immediately.
Their latest album Midnight Passenger was released last April (via Goner Records) and they’re bringing their tour to New York City. They’ll stop by Mercury Lounge on Thursday night.
