Tennis

Denver husband-and-wife duo Tennis have announced that their new album Ritual In Repeat will be released on September 9 via Communion Music. It’s their quick follow-up their Small Sound EP, which was released last November. Production duties were handled by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Jim Eno of Spoon, and Richard Swift of The Shins & The Black Keys.

First single “Never Work For Free” is available to stream, and it’s a delightful track bouncy and bubbling, something of a pop song that be right at home in the 80s. Imagine if the radio actually recognized pop music like this? The world would be a much better place.

The song is available to download for free (ironically, of course) right now at their website (in exchange for your e-mail). Otherwise, you can stream it right now, below.
