Earlier in the year New York City singer-songwriter Eric Frisch released his debut (self-produced) full-length entitled Goodbye Birdcage. Eric’s sound combines elements of 50s and 60s pop music with a modern touch, creating a unique call to the past while still pushing forward into unchartered territory.
He’s released a music video for one of the album highlights “Learn To Swim” The video, which was directed by Stephen Tonti features a reflective Frisch playing the song alone in a studio, offering various clips of him playing the song. It’s a simple, yet effective approach to the lovely folk song that has a familiarity about it that makes it feel like a classic song that you always knew was there, but just needed a friendly reminder.
