I received an email from a new artist named Wooderson Slater with not much information aside from their relevant links (Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud – where their location is listed as “Nowhere, Somewhere”) and their debut song “The Lake.”
Fans of Youth Lagoon should look no further, Wooderson Slater will be your new favorite artist.
“The Lake” starts with atmospheric keys and soon warm vocals come in as the song takes a dreamy turn. Imagine a hazy world where anything is possible. You can do that, or you can let your mind fully slip into the world of “The Lake.” It sweeps you up and inspires you at the same time. It’s one of the best songs that you’ll find floating around there – and you probably have no idea its out there. I’m here to change that.
