Former Girls frontman Christopher Owens has announced the quick follow-up to his debut album Lysandre, which came out early last year. The new album is called A New Testament, and that’s it’s album art posted above. It’s out on September 30 via Turnstile Music. John Anderson, Danny Eisenberg, and Darren Weiss, all of whom played with Owens in Girls, have featured contributions on the album.
“Nothing More Than Everything To Me” is the first single to be shared from the record, and it’s a country inspired rock tune with Owens now signature songwriting sound. It’s a lot more upbeat that almost anything heard on Lysandre, which may please some fans.
