Roses is the new L.A.-based trio of former Abe Vigoda member Juan Velasquez. They released their debut EP Dreamlover earlier this month via Group Tightener.
“It’s Over” is a track taken off the EP, and it’s a keeper. It screams 80s new wave, playing with dance grooves that are fronted by a very Morrissey/Edwyn Collins voice. It has a smart, playful groove to it that is impossible to resist.
