When Bloc Party frontman Kele releases music as a solo musicain, it’s seen as a way for him to get out some of his more electronic and dance music out to the world.
This was the case on his 2010 debut The Boxer, as well as on his new single “Doubt.” It’s the led single of his new album Trick, which will be released on October 14 via Lilac Records.
“Doubt” is a house-influenced dance track which is laced with a very late-night British vibe. It’s enjoyable enough, but it doesn’t captivate me as much as it probably should.
