Brooklynvegan’s wonderful free day party at Baby’s All Right on Saturday came to a close with a thunderous set from Titus Andronicus.

It amazes me how the lineup keeps on shifting, but they’re able to keep that same level of consistency every time I see them live. The group shared four new songs from from their new album (a 30-track rock opera?), but mostly stayed true to their back catalog, opening with the epic “A More Perfect Union,” which never gets old live.

Time and time again, Titus Andronicus remind me that they’re just one hell of a live band. Hopefully we get that new album soon, so I can take in a full show from them again.
