2014 saw the always reliable Sharon Van Etten released Are We There, undoubtedly one of the year’s best records. She hasn’t slowed down her output in any way, starting the new year off with the delightful new single, “I Don’t Want To Let You Down,” which she debuted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week.
Van Etten always finds away to put so much emotional power into her music, and “I Don’t Want To Let You Down” is no different. It’s a smoky track that combines elements of folk rock and alt-country, taking your heart along the way.
She’ll be back in New York City next month for two sold out shows (Feb 18 + 19) at Warsaw.
