It’s always great to have a new album from San Francisco duo The Dodos, so it excites me that they will be releasing their new album Individ next week (January 27 out via Polyvinyl Records ).
The latest track shared from the album is “Retriever.” It’s a very Dodos-esque cut, a combination of fuzzy guitars, the hazy vocals of Meric Long, and the frantic percussion of Logan Kroeber. It’s a relentless, smokey rocker, that doesn’t let up at any point, keeping you locked in to their seductive groove until the very end.
