Modest Mouse
Modest Mouse will release their long-awaited (we’ve been waiting eight years) new album Strangers To Ourselves (via Epic Records).

So far the Portland rockers have shared the rowdy first single “Lampshades On Fire” and the more somber follow-up “Coyotes”.

They’ve hit back yet again with a cut, this time a more classic sounding Modest Mouse affair called “The Best Room.” This one rocks to the beat of its own drum, with hypnotizing guitar effects, and a tempo that only fits in the universe that is Oscar Issac’s vocals.

It’s really good to have Modest Mouse back. We almost forgot how much we needed these guys, but these new songs have reminded us plenty. I can’t wait to bite into the album in full.

Stream “The Best Room” below.
