The Decemberists

This Thursday night (September 24), The Decemberists will stop by Port Chester for a performance at The Capitol Theatre, one of best place to see a shows in New York. If that wasn’t enough reason to go, you’ll also be treated to an opening set from Lucius.

This will be their first performance in New York since their set at Governors Ball in June, although I saw them again later in July at the Newport Folk Festival.

The band are locked in a groove right now in support of their solid new album What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, which was released via Capitol Records back in January. Considering their reputation as one of the more reliable acts in the game, and the beauty of The Capitol, this is sure to be a great show.

Tickets are still available to purchase for this show. They’ll also stop in to Radio City the next night, on Friday, September 25.
