After catching The Decemberists at multiple festivals this year (Governors Ball and Newport Folk Festival) it was nice to catch a proper headlining show of their own. This happened on September 24, at the beautiful Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The group delighted with tracks from all over their now expansive catalog, including a few unexpected gems such as The Hazards Of Love cuts “The Rake’s Song” as well as “The Hazards Of Love” 1 & 4.
The always impressive Lucius opened the show, sharing some new songs that sounded amazing.
