The Last Shadow Puppets are answering a lot of our prayers this year. First with new song “Bad Habits,” then news about their brand new album Everything You’ve Come To Expect (out April via Domino Records), and now we finally have some live tour dates aside from the previously announced festival slots.
The good news is that this small set of live dates incluides a stop into New York for a somewhat intimate performance at Webster Hall. Best of all, this show will be their first U.S. show of the tour (as well as their first show stateside in many years), even ahead of their two showings at both Coachella weekends. Ah, the benefits of living in New York.
One of my biggest regrets was missing all of their previous live performances here, as I was away at school and unable to get down for the shows. I’m glad this will finally be rectified, even if it did take a painful eight years.
