Just one day after opening for Blur at the world’s most famous arena, Courtney Barnett played a show of her own, at the slightly more intimate Baby’s All Right. The show was a special exclusive for members of the monthly subscription service Jukely, and one of the last chances we will have in some time of catching Barnett live, at least in a room this tiny ever again.

She sounded great as usual, ripping into songs off her breakthrough 2015 release Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit (one of the year’s best) delighting the lucky crowd with the same amount of passion and energy as always. The show also featured an opening set from the seductive charm of Widowspeak.
