After sending me home thrilled with a fantastic welcome back performance the night before, I found myself another ticket for LCD Soundsystem’s second night at Webster Hall, eager to dance myself clean some more.

The band sounded even tighter than they did the previous night, with some of the first night jitters and rust understandably out of the way, they were back in business again and this time delivered a tighter and even better performance. This time their new synth worked well and allowed them to play “I Can Change,” after the said synth wasn’t cooperating the night before. This time they delivered “Sound Of Silver” and “45:33 Part Four” in additional to the assured set of favorites. While this crowd wasn’t quite as wild as the first night, they went about as crazy as you could imagine during the bands triumphant encore performance of “All My Friends,” that reminded me ten times over why I fell in love with the band, and that song, in the first place.

I did not take this show for granted, as I doubt I’ll be able to see LCD Soundsystem in a room like Webster Hall anytime soon.
