With every live performance it seems that British quartet Savages get better and more powerful. They’re set of primal rage is meant to be heard live, and their show at Brooklyn venue Warsaw on March 29 was the best I’ve seen them yet. The stop came in support of their sophomore album Adore Life, released via Matador Records this January.

The sold out audience (which included LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Al Doyle) was totally in on the action, lifting frontwoman Jehnny Beth over the crowd during “Hit Me” so she could sign over us in one of the many highlights of the great night of music.
