On August 10, one of Britain’s most underrated bands Wild Beasts returned for a sold out show at Baby’s All Right. The intimate Brooklyn showing came in support of their new album Boy King, which was released that week via Domino Records.
The packed Baby’s All Right was a great fit for the dark, sweaty songs off their new album, so much so that a fan passed out during the second song of the night, “Get My Bang.” It was a scary moment that stopped the show and had the band watching equally concerned as the crowd, until the fan was thankfully revived and all was alright.
They started “Get My Bang’ again and then ran through a great 16-song set of all their sexy anthems both old and new, that had the enthusiastic crowd wild and singing along from start to finish.
