2016 was a busy one for both La Sera and Springtime Carnivore. As La Sera, former Vivian Girls member Katy Goodman released a new album called Music for Listening to Music To (via Polyvinyl Records), and then a new EP titled Queens. As Springtime Carnivore, Greta Morgan released her sophomore album Midnight Room via Autumn Tone Records. As if that wasn’t enough, the two combined forces (under the joined title of Katy Goodman + Greta Morgan) for Take It, It’s Yours a covers album of punk classics (that was also released via Polyvinyl).

It only made sense for the two to tour together, and they stopped in to New York for a rare matinee show on Sunday, October 23. Springtime Carnivore kicked things off with some of their own songs, before being joined by Katy for some of the covers taken from their album together. Then it was time for La Sera, who rocked out into the early evening, with plenty of night still to enjoy.
